Payment Terms

All orders placed with Glass Delivered will include these terms and conditions. No modifications, alterations, or substitutions to these terms will be binding unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by us.

Unless otherwise arranged in writing, payment for goods must be made prior to production. Once the payment is received, the goods will be shipped to you, and ownership will only transfer upon your receipt of the goods.

The customer shall not withhold payment for any amount due under the contract due to any disputes regarding faulty goods. Likewise, the customer cannot offset any amounts owed with sums that are not currently determined or under dispute.

If any invoice for goods provided by us is not settled by the due date, we retain the right to suspend further deliveries to the customer, regardless of whether these goods are part of the same contract, and without affecting any additional rights or remedies we may possess.

Interest may be charged on any amounts overdue beyond 30 days, calculated daily at a rate of 3% above the current bank base rate. A fee of £20 will be applied to any returned cheques.

Delays caused by factors beyond our control do not give the customer the right to cancel their order or refuse delivery.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing an order. Refunds will not be issued for orders placed incorrectly.

Guarantee

A ten-year guarantee is applicable to units fitted in uPVC and aluminium frames. A five-year guarantee is applicable for all units filled with krypton gas. A five-year guarantee applies to units fitted into wooden frames, with the understanding that the frames are maintained to prevent water and sunlight penetration. A five-year guarantee also applies to units using edge tape.

We reserve the right to inspect any claimed unit on-site. This guarantee is non-transferable. Any contract incorporating these conditions shall be governed by the laws of England. All units should be inspected prior to glazing, as Glass Delivered will not be held accountable for the deglazing and reglazing of units deemed faulty post-installation. The inspection of units will adhere to the standards established by the Glass and Glazing Federation.
